Greg Gutfeld Recites Long List of Jewish Stereotypes in Bad Bunny-Inspired Rant
Like many other conservative commentators, News’ Greg Gutfeld had a lot to say about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show, and it doesn’t seem likely that the NFL will take up his suggestion of a future performance to coincide with the big game anytime soon.
On Monday’s episode of News’ “The Five,” Gutfeld offered a surprising critique of Bad Bunny’s show, briefly mocking the Latin pop superstar, who hails from Puerto Rico and performs primarily in Spanish, speaking with a fake accent at one point.
“As a proud Latina, I don’t care,” she said mockingly. “The music itself was mediocre. I didn’t even listen to it, but I enjoyed watching it.”
Gutfeld, however, did not stop there and jokingly proposed a halftime show that would include a series of Jewish stereotypes and culminate with a circumcision.
“What about the Jews? There are twice as many Jews in America,” he said. “Where’s the Jewish halftime? Where’s the dancing counters? The men throwing pastrami, the Jewish mothers telling you to put on a sweater… and then, top it off with a live circumcision right at the 50-yard line.”
Elsewhere in his rant, Gutfeld argued that “there are twice as many Puerto Ricans in the United States as there are in Puerto Rico,” overlooking the fact that the Caribbean archipelago has been a United States territory since 1898.
He then dismissed Bad Bunny’s embrace of Puerto Rican symbolism in his performance, zooming in on the utility poles that appeared during “El Apagón,” a 2022 song that references the intermittent power outages Puerto Rico has experienced in recent years.

“I don’t come to halftime to educate myself… to hell with that,” Gutfeld concluded. “I just want to have fun. I got up and peed.”
Bad Bunny’s halftime show garnered high praise and massive ratings. Still, his opposition to President Donald Trump’s crackdown on immigrants — as he reiterated in his Grammy Awards speech earlier this month — has made him a lightning rod for conservative critics.
Turning Point USA, the right-wing political group founded by slain activist Charlie Kirk, even went so far as to organize an alternative “All-American Halftime Show” after the NFL selected Bad Bunny as the halftime headliner.
The “All-American Halftime Show” featured a performance by Kid Rock, a Trump loyalist. However, its viewing figures paled in comparison to those of the official halftime, and apparently not even Trump himself managed to tune in.
