After winning gold in downhill, then seeing the clasp of her medal ribbon break shortly after the ceremony, the American skier had another unforgettable moment at Milan Cortina 2026 on Thursday.

Johnson was eliminated from the super-G final.

But after her race ended, her boyfriend, Connor Watkins, got down on one knee in the finish area and proposed.

Johnson said yes and cameras caught her beaming as she showed off her new engagement ring.
