Trump Gets Instant Fact Check After Blatant New Complaint About Biden
President Donald Trump on Thursday made a complaint about former President Joe Biden that couldn’t have come at a worse time.
“We had the worst inflation in history under Joe Biden’s dream,” Trump said. “He was sleeping while you were working. No, he was sleeping while you were trying to get a job, you weren’t working.”
Trump often refers to Biden as “Sleepy Joe” and has accused him of snoozing on the job.
But since returning to the White House, Trump himself appeared to fall asleep in public on multiple occasions, including on Thursday, just hours before accusing Biden of sleeping.
Here is the president during a meeting of his so-called Peace Board on Thursday:

Trump has denied sleeping in public and last year blamed photographers for taking his photos at just the right time to make it appear he was asleep.
“Sometimes they take a picture of me blinking, blinking, and they catch me blinking,” he told The Wall Street Journal last month.
But his struggles to stay awake have also been captured on video, including on Thursday:
In a separate interview last month, he also denied falling asleep at a recent Cabinet meeting despite pictures and videos in which he looked very sleepy.
That meeting, Trump said, was “very boring.”
“I hear every word and I can’t wait to get out,” he told New York Magazine.
Given that background (and his history of mocking Biden for being “Sleepy Joe”), the president’s critics were quick to respond on social media:
