Selena Gómez kissed Benny Blanco
“Only Murders in the Building” star Selena Gomez surprised her fans this week by sharing a rather intimate display of affection toward her husband, producer Benny Blanco.
On Tuesday’s episode of the “Friends Keep Secrets” video podcast, Gomez kissed Blanco’s foot while the couple discussed their romance with co-hosts Lil Dicky and Kristin Batalucco.
Blanco seemed to be caught off guard briefly before slyly asking his friends, “Do you like that?”
“Oh, don’t do it for a moment!” Gomez responded as she playfully slapped her husband’s leg.

Despite Gómez’s request, viewers turned it into a “moment” on social media.
“Choosing to believe this is AI generated to preserve my sanity,” one person on X wrote.
Another added: “That’s one way to keep the romance alive! Who has the weirdest quirks of the couple?”
Others, however, suggested the move was not so unusual among engaged couples.

Divisions aside, Gómez’s gesture before the camera was auspicious at the right time. On the premiere episode of “Friends Keep Secrets,” which aired last week, Blanco sparked an online frenzy when she propped her legs up on a couch, revealing that her bare feet were covered in dirt. At one point during the episode, he also farted audibly.
However, those who focused solely on Gomez’s kiss on her feet missed a surprisingly sweet discussion about her marriage to Blanco. The couple married last September after two years of dating.

“I want her to shine and be her own independent woman. That’s why I work hard,” Blanco explained on Tuesday’s episode. “I use every bone in my body to not have my eyes bugged out on her and not want to kiss her and jump on her bones all the time.”
Gomez also described their relationship as “one of the best things in life.”
From the looks of it, fans who continue to tune in to “Friends Keep Secrets” can expect more unscripted moments in the coming weeks. The show is billed as “an intimate gathering,” showcasing its hosts’ “real-life friendships” with guests like Gwyneth Paltrow and Ed Sheeran, which is equal parts “podcast, livestream, and sitcom.”
Whether it will surprise critics, however, is another story. Shortly after Tuesday’s episode was revealed, New York Magazine’s Vulture blog deemed it “a must-see in the most disparaging sense of the word.”
