James Carville Shares NSFW Reaction to Claims He Has
James Carville criticized President Donald Trump on Friday in an expletive-laden rant, addressing claims that he suffers from “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” which is not an actual medical diagnosis but is frequently used as an insult by MAGA voters.
“You’re right! I have Trump derangement syndrome. I hate that son of a bitch,” Carville said in a video for Politicon. “And you know what? I don’t want to get rid of him. I don’t want to get better, I want to get worse. I want to hate him more. I pray to God in heaven.
He continued, “God, rain down on me the righteous rain of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Pray for me, Lord. I am your vessel on this earth. Pray for the people listening to this. We want more. We want to hate the motherfucker so much we can’t see straight.”
The veteran Democratic strategist seemed to lean into some theatrics during the rant, but he certainly wasn’t joking about his frustrations, lamenting that other pundits like Stephen A. Smith “can’t help but be fair” in covering Trump and his policies.
“In other words, in these people’s minds, they were just born with a reflex idea of justice,” Carville said, before launching into an imitation: “‘And yes, we can talk to people like Carville, but they look at Trump and they just don’t give him credit for anything.'”
He then went on to insult Trump with some more choice words.
“And look, fat fuck Trump, if you listen to this, you listen well, because what I’m getting ready to say is what a lot of people in this country [feel] who I speak for, and I speak for many people. Do you hear me, you fat idiot?
“This is what we believe,” Carville said before launching into a rant about the “syndrome.”
Carville has been an outspoken critic of Trump for more than a decade, warning before the 2016 election that the dangers of his presidency would be “hard to overestimate” and admitting before the 2024 election that he was “scared to death” of a second term.

“He is invading people without authorization, he has the most incompetent fucking buffoons. [in his cabinet]”Carville said. “So I’m supposed to give him credit for firing [former Homeland Security Secretary] Kristi Noem, when she actually hired Kristi Noem!
Carville also sharply criticized Attorney General Pam Bondi, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, calling the latter a “tin-horned drugstore cowboy” and a “moron” before resuming his theatrical prayer routine.
“Pray for all of us, Lord,” Carville said. “Pray for James. Pray for James’ friends.”
He added: “Pray for the people who are paying more for gas for some fucking idiotic war that he didn’t even tell us why we’re there. He still doesn’t know why the fuck we’re there. I guess we’re there to bomb girls’ schools because that’ll make them like us more.”
