Trump revisits one of his strangest complaints about President Obama
President Donald Trump just resurfaced one of his most petty complaints about President Barack Obama.
Although he is currently facing a backlash from his base over the war against Iran and bleak midterm forecasts for his party, the president had simpler things on his mind during a rally at a packaging plant in Hebron, Kentucky, on Wednesday.
“The one thing I admired about Barack Hussein Obama, which was really nothing. But the one thing is the way he walked down the stairs,” he told the crowd. “There’s talk of non-presidential. He’s oscillating… and I couldn’t believe he did it without at least one major, notable fall.”

Trump, attacking another Democratic predecessor, added: “But [President Joe] Biden was the complete opposite, he couldn’t even climb the stairs. “He fell three times.”
This is not the first time the embattled Republican has complained about Obama’s ladder style.

Complaining about the Democrat’s springy steps on former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino’s podcast in February, Trump said: “He didn’t look graceful at all. I thought he looked so terrible. This is the president of the United States.”
“I kept waiting for it to fall. And it didn’t. So I would rather have other features than those,” the president added. “You know, those stairs are very slippery. And I used to say, ‘It’s an accident waiting to happen.'”
Seemingly obsessed with the issue, the president praised his own cautious walk while speaking at a meeting of top military generals in September.
“I’m very careful…I walk very slowly,” the 79-year-old said. “No one has to set a record. Just try not to fall because it doesn’t work well… Just walk nice and easy. You don’t have to set any records.”
