O’Brien’s jab was intended to mock Turning Point USA’s “All-American Halftime Show,” headlined by Kid Rock and turned in some pretty mediocre performances. The MAGA-friendly alternative halftime show acted as a protest against Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny’s official Super Bowl halftime show.

Your shameless self-promotion was more boring as the event was filled with controversy following their flat performance at the Turning Point alternative halftime show.
The festival’s two-day season in Anderson County, S.C., on July 25-26, was canceled after several artists scheduled for the lineup withdrew. The Post & Courier reported last month, including rock band Shinedown, country musicians Morgan Wade and Carter Faith, and rapper Ludacris.
As of February 6, rock band Creed was also eliminated. from the event website without explanation.
