Prince Harry is established with British tabloids
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, lost the last stage of his judicial battle on Friday for having his official detail of reduced security when he visits the United Kingdom. Harry had been appealing to a previous judicial ruling that allowed the British government decision to resign As a work member of royal family and move to the United States.
Throughout most of his life as a real real, Harry received general personal protection provided by the British police. In February 2020, after giving up their real high -ranking duties, Harry and the protection of their family were reduced to security measures to be considered a case -by -case basis.
Harry and his lawyers argued that private bodyguards, who cannot transport weapons under British law and do not have access to the government security network, are not enough to protect him and his family when they visit the United Kingdom.
“The United Kingdom is my home,” Harry told the Superior Court of the Nation in December 2023.
“The United Kingdom is essential for the inheritance of my children and a place where I want them to feel at home as much as they live at this time in the US. That cannot happen if it is not possible to keep them safe when they are on the floor of the United Kingdom,” Harry said in 2023.
In 2024, Harry lost a legal challenge that he presented against that decision of 2020, but was granted the right to appeal.
“I concluded, after having studied the detailed documents, I could not say that the Duke’s complaint was translated into a legal argument for a challenge to” the prior decision of the court, Sir Geffery Vos, the master of the court lists, said Friday.
Harry did not attend Friday’s audience.
