The Palestinian activist hits Trump after the release of detention:
Recently released Palestinian activist and student at Columbia University, Mohsen Mahdawi, has made it clear that he has no intention of stopping speaking against Israel and Trump administration, saying that the intimidation tactics of immigration officials “will not silence me.”
Mahdawi is a student of undergraduate philosophy who directed Pacific Pro-Palestinian manifestations on campus, and said he was accepted in the University Master’s Program to study international matters. Despite being a permanent legal resident of the United States during the last 10 years, immigration officials arrested Mahdawi in their citizenship interview and arrested him in a state prison in Vermont for 16 days.
A judge ordered the release of the 34-year-old player on April 30 after questioning his arrest, which made him among the first Pro-Palestinian students arrested to be released. Mahdawi sat down with News Evening News in an interview that was broadcast on Monday, his first appearance in the media since he launched.

Since the beginning of the second Trump administration, immigration application officials throughout the country have carried out a campaign to arrest or kidnap university students who speak in support of Palestine. Many of these students participated in campus protests to ask the United States to stop assembling Israel in their destruction of Gaza and for universities to deviate from companies that do business with the Israeli government.
Before his arrest, Mahdawi said he had been hidden since March after learning of his classmate Columbia Mahmoud Khalil. A judge ruled that Khalil can be deported, a decision that Mahdawi had described as “heartbreaking.”
Due to its multiple appearances in the media as a student activist, Mahdawi said he experienced serious threats, intimidation and doxx by pro-Israel groups of extreme right such as Betar and Canary Mission. Betar had previously said to News themezone who presented the names of Mahdawi and two others to the Trump administration for its potential orientation. On April 14, he was arrested.

The Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, said that Mahdawi, who is occupied with occupied Bank, can be deported under the immigration and nationality law because his presence supposedly “would have serious adverse consequences of foreign policy and committed a convincing foreign policy interest.”
“It’s laughible,” Mahdawi said Monday. “Has a person who has been advocating vocally for justice and peace is undermining the policy of the United States?”

In an email to News themezone on Tuesday, Betar Daniel Levy spokesman maintained without evidence that Mahdawi is a “terrorist” and that Israeli forces “await him if he returns” to his homeland. Mahdawi has no anti -Semitism record, and has affirmed that the doxican groups are spreading erroneous information to frame him as a fan.
The United States District Judge, Geoffrey Crawford, ruled the argument of Mahdawi “substantial” that he was arrested in retaliation for the speech with which the government does not agree. The activist’s actions are protected by the first amendment, regardless of whether “it was a brand of fire,” said Crawford’s ruling, and that offensive political opponents do not qualify for detention.
“My freedom indicates a light of hope,” Mahdawi told News. “They reassured me in my heart of the belief that justice will prevail and that the justice system is working.”
After his release, Mahdawi talked directly to President Donald Trump, telling him that he is not afraid of the administration. On Monday, he reiterated that lack of fear and promised to continue talking.
