Nicole Kidman caught attention with a fresh hairstyle at the Met Gala on Monday.

While her black dress of Balenciaga without straps was classic Kidman, she did something very different with her locks.

The star looked elegant while changing her typically long strands in a short harvest and side sweeping with deep and dark roots.

The stylist of the “Babygirl” actor, Adir Abergel, explained the inspiration behind the transformation on his Instagram, describing the “shortcut as the essence of dandyism” highlighted in the star.

“I wanted to celebrate this year’s issue by honoring the dandies and their individuality, elegance and trust, where every detail adapts to that unique person,” his legend continued.

This year’s Met Gala celebrated the last exhibition of the costume institute, “Superfine: Sapering Black Style” and was an ODA to black fashion and its roots in the aesthetics Dandy.
