Jon Hamm delivered the perfect line to Amy Poehler very pregnant and hysterically that she cries

Jon Hamm once saved the day after Amy Poehler received some devastating news, just before she was about to give her first child in 2008.

“I was pregnant with my son, Archie, Hamm was the host [of ‘Saturday Night Live’]”Poehler said in the last episode of his podcast,” Good Hang. “

“He was supposed to deliver to the baby on Sunday, so I thought he was going to make the show on Saturday and then deliver to the baby the next day, like True Psycho,” the comedian told Paul Rudd, who was his guest in the episode. “As I thought, ‘Well, this makes sense and I will make the baby on Sunday.'”

She added: “And I learned my first from many lessons of, as, her children are at their own schedule and do not work with you.”

But she was determined to film the episode with Hamm, who was the host for the first time.

“We rehearsed all day on Friday. I was in nine sketches or something that week,” said the “parks and recreation” actor, and added that “he still felt quite well” at that time, preparing for the episode.

Things took a turn when Poehler was shooting a recording of “Mad Men” for the show, when he received a call that his ob-gyn had suddenly died.

“A wonderful doctor who was 80 years old, who was this incredible doctor. He died and I exploded crying on the phone,” Poehler said. “And when you see a very, very pregnant person crying hysterically, it’s very afraid.”

The “Baby Mama” star said that the entire crew became “really quiet” and then asked what happened.

“I go out and ‘Everyone is like, are you okay?’ And I said: ‘My God, my ob-gyn has just died.
