James Carville is expressing a serious outrage after the reports that President Donald Trump plans to accept a $ 400 million plane of Qatar, but believes that the scandal could become a cry of effective meeting for a Democratic Party to recover voters.

The strategist for a long time appeared on Tuesday in Newsnation and urged other Democrats to take advantage of a “corruption” narrative, since Trump would violate the Constitution of the United States by accepting the gift of a foreign government without the approval of the Congress, and certainly made his case to receive Chris Cuomo.

“He is taking a $ 400 million plane for the use of a lifetime of a foreign government,” Carville said. “He is selling places at a White House dinner for people who buy their memecoin, which goes directly to their pocket. And that is the tragedy, that is what the Democrats should do.”

The Democratic party certainly seems to be listening, since the leader of the Senate minority, Chuck Schumer (DN.Y.) on Tuesday that he has put a “retention” in all the presidential nominees to the Department of Justice in response to Trump’s plan to accept the replacement of the Air Force.

Schumer called the alleged “naked corruption” gift, a feeling previously expressed by Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT.). Even some Republicans, including the influential of the extreme right -right Republican Party Laura Lour, have reacted unfavorably to Trump’s disposition to accept Qatar’s gift.

Carville believes that this is the right exact moment for the Democrats to attenuate, since the Republican party also announced the possible clippings of Medicaid on Sunday with a drafted legislation, which Trump promised would be a “draft large and beautiful law”, which could leave more than 8 million people without medical insurance.

“That is why, while dinner at the White House, rewarding people who are giving money, taking airplanes, eliminating 8.6 million people with health insurance, if the Democrats cannot send messages against that, they should explode,” Carville said.

“But I think they can,” he continued.

While Trump would violate the foreign emoluments clause of the Constitution by accepting the gift without the approval of Congress and potentially delivering another undue influence on an American official (himself), Cuomo argued that the “path of corruption” is what lost the Democrats the elections.

Carville, who regularly covers the issue in his podcast, said Tuesday that “he would never leave the path of corruption.”
