Washington, May 17 (Reuters) – President Donald Trump said on Saturday at a social media post, the United States Federal Reserve should reduce “sooner rather than later” rates.
Trump also criticized the head of the Central Bank, Jerome Powell.
“The consensus of almost all is that ‘Fed should reduce rates sooner rather than later,” Trump said in the position.
“Too late Powella legendary man for being too late, he will probably fly again, but who knows? Trump added.
