Bertinelli, whose Hollywood curriculum includes the News series “One Day at a Time” and “Touched by an Angel”, moved away from details throughout its publication. In 2024, he began presenting the “Bingo Blitz” of the Games Show network and joined “The Drew Barrymore Show” as an expert in life. He also announced a new kitchen book, “Consult”.
However, reflecting on that difficult period, Bertinelli said he realized how much he learned about “my strength, my weaknesses, my patience, my resistance and my worth”, and hopes to encourage fans to look inside too.
“If I could give him something of value of my experience, it would be this; do not let the challenging days make you forget how far you have really come. No matter what, you always believe in your central being,” he wrote. “Do not allow the opinions of others or your experience with you, color what you think of yourself. You did the best you can with what you knew at that time.”
Bertinelli, the former host of “Valerie’s Home Cooking” and “Kids Baking Championship” in Food Network, has generated headlines in recent times after what some have perceived as a separation less than the life -life writer Mike Goodnough, with whom it came out for about 10 months.

Describing his separation from Bertinelli as “with much the most painful experience of my life,” Goodnough said he had contacted his ex in an effort to find “a path to a soft separation instead of a closed door”, but I had never heard behind.
“However, no answer is an answer. I accept it,” he wrote. “That said, this chapter is now closed to me.”
