When Denzel Washington’s address will not want flat line in front of the camera.
Fortunately, that did not happen when Washington took a step behind the lens for a 2016 episode of the medical drama “Gray’s Anatomy”, titled “The sound of silence.”
In an interview with the Post New York published on Thursday, actor Jason George, who was scrubbing as Dr. Ben Warren in the series, recalled what it was like when the Oscar winning actor called the shooting.
“Denzel Washington directed an episode, and it was an incredible episode that everyone was at their best [behavior] For, “said George.” All appear professionally anyway, but when Denzel directs his episode, they all came [correct]. “

According to George, even the early call times inspired the maximum performance, especially the female members of the program cast. He revealed that the women in the series appeared at 5 am, apparently dressed for the red carpet and not for the operating room.
But George had a breach of Washington’s brief season in the director’s chair: a cameo.
“I would love to see him in front of the camera in the program. It will never happen, but you have to publish it,” he said. “I hope he does. It is Denzel. He has to enter like the doctor who is that guy, and everyone is geek and excited about him. He has to enter like the expert.”

Of course, not all members of the cast of Gray had a perfect experience for textbooks with the director. In 2022, Entertainment Tonight reported that the Ellen Pompeo series star had a more inflammatory reaction.
“Denzel got ham on my butt,” Pompeo admitted during a conversation with former co -star Patrick Dempsey in his “Tell Me” podcast.
He described a set on the set after improvising a line during a scene, a movement without script that Washington did not diagnose exactly as artistic freedom. Then he reminded him of who was in charge that day, and Pompeo was not happy.

“Listen, this is my program. This is my set. Who are you saying?” Pompeo recalled having told Washington. “You barely know where the bathroom is.”
Despite the clash, Pompeo made it clear that there were no resentments after the operation and says he has the “greatest respect” for Washington.
