Passenger arrested after forcing the international flight to divert 00:21

A rebel passenger forced a flight from All Nippon Airways from Tokyo to Houston to deviate to Seattle on Saturday, authorities said.

A man tried to open the exit doors of the plane during the flight, he told News themezone, spokesman for the Port Department of Seattle, Chris Guizlo. Passenger companions and flight crew members restricted the individual before landing.

The plane landed at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport around 4:19 am local time, according to Guizlo.

The police of the Port of Seattle evaluated the man and determined that he was having a medical crisis. He was transported to a local hospital to receive additional treatment. It is not clear what charges the man will face, if any.

News themezone contacted the Seattle branch of the Federal Research Office.

While in the asphalt in Seattle, a second passenger became rebellious and was also removed by the Seattle police port, all the Nippon Airways confirmed. The two incidents are not related.

FlightAware.com data show that the flight continues from Seattle to Houston just after 7 am

“The safety of our passengers and the crew is our main priority and we applaud the efforts of the Local Police for their support,” said the airline in a statement.
