Michael Bubl hits Trump for Canada’s threats without even using his name
Michael Bublé took a blow less than subtle to the president of the United States, Donald Trump, on Sunday night, while organizing this year’s Juno Awards, the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys.
Describing himself as a “child of the city who never left”, the Canadian singer did not mention Trump by his name in his opening monologue, but alluded to the desire of the president of Annexar Canada for the United States in the midst of a growing commercial war.
“I am proud that when they get off, we stand up, we get on. It’s the same,” Bublé said. “In a nutshell: we love this country. And when you love something, you present yourself, and we will always do it. We will do it, because we are formidable, because we are intrepid, because we not only recognize our differences, we hug them. Because they not only make us stronger, they make us much more interesting.”
“We are the largest nation in the world, and we are not on sale,” he added, while the audience exploded in cheers and applause.

Bublé was one of several artists born in Canada who gave a patriotic tone with their comments, and, in some cases, his wardrobe, at the Sunday ceremony, which was held at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Anne Murray, known for contemporary successes for adults such as “You Need Me” and “Just another Woman in Love”, recalled how he resisted offers to move to New York or Los Angeles at the beginning of his career while accepting an Achievement Award for Life.
“Canada is my safe shelter. My security blanket,” he said from the stage, wearing a sequin hockey shirt that presented the word “Canada” and an Arce sheet on the front. “My light at the end of the tunnel is still.”
Speaking to the Toronto star in Backstage, Murray did not refer to American politics, but said of his outfit: “He says everything.”

BBNO $ rapper, based in Vancouver, was significantly more pointed while accepted the Fan Choice Prize with a speech that quickly became viral on social networks.
“Elon Musk is a piece of garbage,” he said, referring to the Tesla CEO that has become one of Trump’s main advisors.
Since he was sworn in office, Trump has repeatedly accused Canada of having “started” the United States for years and insist that the sovereign nation “only works” as the State of the United States.

“It would be one of the great states anywhere,” Trump said last month. “This would be the most incredible visually incredible country. If you look at a map, they drawn an artificial line through it between Canada and the United States only a direct artificial line. Someone did it a long time ago, many, many decades ago. And it makes no sense.”
Although Trum’s supporters have rushed to rule out the president’s comments as a joke, Canadian officials do not laugh.
Speaking to journalists in Ottawa last week, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada’s previous relationship with the United States, which had been “based on the integration of our economies and tense security and military cooperation,” had “finished.”
