The Paraglider survives that it accidentally draws 28,000 feet in the air without oxygen

A paragliding in China has survived an unexpected rise to 28,208 feet in the air without oxygen after being caught in a powerful ascending, according to an account told to the Chinese central television (CCTV).

Peng Yujiang, an experienced paragliding, said he had been performing a routine test of teams of just under 10,000 feet on the sea in the province of Gansu in the northwest of China.

“After a while, the wind suddenly picked up and lifted me on the air. I tried to land as soon as possible, but I failed,” Peng to CCTV told CCTV

The 55 -year -old man had found himself trapped within a cumulonimbus cloud system, in a phenomenon described as “clouds of clouds”, where the strong currents of the rising corral lead paraglures to dramatically high altitudes.

“It was scary, everything around me was white. I thought I was flying straight, but in reality, I was turning,” Peng to CCTV told CCTV.

It rose to an altitude of 28,208 feet, which is almost as high as Mount Everest, the highest mountain above the world level.

The images of the 360 ​​degree camera of the flight show the paragliding flying through thick clouds while the ice is formed around its exposed face and equipment. Although Peng seems quiet in the video, he admitted in an interview with CCTV that the episode was deeply scary.

“It’s still scary to think. I’m not sure of the future, but for now it will definitely not fly for a while,” he said.

He was given a six -month flight suspension, since the flight site and airspace had not been approved in advance.
