The rivalry between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese continues to light the world of sport.

Clark committed a flagrant offense against Reese earlier this month during the first 2025 clash of Indiana with Chicago Sky. The dispute on the court between the two basketball stars dates back to its time at the level of university basketball.

In recent years, innumerable sports figures have discussed whether rivalry is beneficial. Orlando Magic Jonathan Isaac striker said he finally believes that he helps attract attention to female basketball.

“I think it’s really great for basketball. Obviously, the reason he is facing so is because it’s great for television. Sale tickets,” Isaac told News Digital in the name of his Christian clothing brand Unitus.

According to the company’s official website, Unitus’s mission “is to inspire and train people to live in greater unity, freedom, strength and purpose.”

“Some things that I think come out of control with some of the comments about white against blacks. I understand that there are nuances in that and that there is also a reality in that. But I think that at the basic level it is basketball and rivalries are good for basketball.

“I think it has been incredible for women’s sports. Due to rivalry, due to Angel Reese, due to Caitlin Clark … [there’s been an uptick in the] Interest in female basketball that was not completely there before. I am happy for that. I want to see him play. I want to see that they continue to grow their careers and be the best basketball players that can be. “

Reese established the WNBA record for consecutive games with a double double last season. Clark received the honors of the rookie of the WNBA year last season after averaging 19.2 per contest and appearing in the 40 regular seasonal games.

Isaac accredited his faith, family and support system for helping him overcome the series of injuries.

Isaac, who appeared to the national anthem, while his other colleagues knelt before a game in the bubble in 2020, according to reports, agreed an extension of the contract in July 2024.

Isaac and Magic agreed to an extension of the contract of five years and $ 84 million, Espn reported at that time. The agreement links the striker with the magic during the 2028-29 season.
