Miley Cyrus clarifies the record in his departure with Father Billy Ray Cyrus

The singer opened about her tense relationship with her father in a vulnerable sitting with the “The interview” of the New York Times.

The interviewer Lulu García-Navarro asked Cyrus if he was still separated from his father, to what he said “no.”

“I think time is everything,” said the 32 -year -old man. “As I grew up, I respect my parents as individuals instead of how parents, because my mother really loved my father throughout her life, and I think being married to someone in the music industry and not being part of it is obviously difficult.”

The “Flores” singer said she thought “she assumed my mother’s pain because of mine because she hurt her more than it hurt as an adult, so I owned much of her pain.”

Now that his two parents are with other people, Cyrus said that “they can love them both as individuals instead of how parents’ pairing.”

“I’m being an adult about it,” he said. “At first it is difficult, because the little boy in you reacts before the adult in you can go: ‘Yes, that is your father, but that is just another person who deserves to be in his joy and be happy.’ My son has been achieved.”

The speculation swirled that Cyrus and his father of “painful broken heart” were in tense terms after their brothers seemed to take sides after the 2022 divorce of their parents.

Cyrus denied having been separated from his father in an interview with David Letterman last year, in which he talked about Billy Ray’s “narcissism” and said his mother raised her mainly.

During the sitting, Letterman said: “There is no distancing here with your father, it is alone, a little, the way things are played?”

“Yes,” Cyrus said at that time. “I think what is so beautiful is that my parents, served their children and I know. My parents served us and sacrificed us a lot for us. Anything we dream of, they made it possible.”

Despite Cyrus’s denial of a crack with her father, the singer seemed to leave her father out of her acceptance speech when she won her first Grammy in early 2024.

She thanked her mother, sister Brandi Cyrus and her boyfriend, Maxx Morando, apparently leaving aside her other brothers and father on the way to shouting: “… all the people we love! I don’t think he forgot anyone.”

To add to speculation, Miley Cyrus and two of her brothers attended her mother Tish’s wedding to the “Prison Break” Dominic Purcell actor in 2023.

In remarkably absent were the two brothers of Cyrus: Braison and Noah Cyrus, the last of which was photographed with a Billy Ray Cyrus shirt during the Tish wedding weekend.
