Trump orders research on Biden

Washington (AP) – President Donald Trump ordered his administration on Wednesday to investigate Joe Biden’s actions as president, claiming that attendees masked the “cognitive decline” of his predecessor and threw doubts about the legitimacy of their use of automatic brings and other documents.

The order marked a significant escalation in Trump’s orientation to political adversaries and could lay the foundations for the republican arguments that a variety of Biden actions as president was not valid.

Biden responded in a statement on Wednesday night: “Let me be clear: I made decisions during my presidency. I made decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation and proclamations. Any suggestion that it was not ridiculous and false.”

The Department of Justice under democratic and republican administrations has recognized the use of an automatic pilot to sign legislation and issue pardons for decades, Trump did not present evidence that Biden was not aware of the actions taken in his name, and the power of absolute forgiveness of the president is enshrined in the Constitution of the United States.

“This conspiracy marks one of the most dangerous and worrying scandals in American history,” Trump wrote in a memorandum. “The American public was about to discover who exercised the Executive Power, all while Biden’s firm was deployed in thousands of documents to make changes of radical policies.”

Trump ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi and the White House lawyer, David Warrington, to handle the investigation.

It is not clear to what extent Trump will boost this effort, which would face certain legal challenges. But it reflects his fixation in Biden, who defeated him in 2020, an election that Trump never admitted and continues to falsely affirmed that he was manipulated against him.

Trump frequently suggests that Biden was wrong when using a self -depend, a mechanical device that replicates a person’s authentic firm. Although they have been used in the White House for decades, Trump states that Biden’s assistants used the presidential authority.

Biden issued forgives for his two brothers and his sister shortly before leaving office, hoping to protect them from potential prosecution under Trump, who had promised a remuneration during the campaign last year. Other forgiveness recipients included members of a Congress Committee that investigated the disturbances of January 6, 2021 at the United States Capitol.

Trump often suggests that his political opponents should be investigated, and has ordered the Department of Justice to seek people who have angered him over the years. They include Chris Krebs, a former cybersecurity official who played Trump’s claims of a stolen election in 2020, and Miles Taylor, a former official of the National Security Department who wrote an anonymous opinion article very critical with the president in 2018.

Meanwhile, the president of supervision of the House of Representatives, James Eat of Kentucky, a Republican, requested interviews transcribed with five Biden assistants, claiming that they had participated in a “cover -up” that was equivalent to “one of the best scandals in the history of our nation.”

“These five former superior advisors were eyewitnesses of President Biden’s condition and operations within the White House Biden,” he said in a statement. “They must appear before the Chamber’s Supervision Committee and provide truthful responses on the cognitive state of President Biden and who was calling the shooting.”

Interviews were requested from the High Level Advisors of the White House Mike Donilon and Anita Dunn, former Chief of Cabinet of the White House, Ron Klain, former personnel deputy director Bruce Reed and Steve Ricchetti, former president of the President.

Eating reiterated his call for Biden doctor, Kevin O’Connor, and former White House assistants, Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernal, Ashley Williams and Neera Tanden, will appear before the committee. He warned that appointments would be broadcast this week if they refuse to schedule voluntary interviews.

“I think people will begin to come in the next two weeks,” he said to eat journalists. He added that the Committee would publish a report with its findings, “and we will launch the interviews transcribed, so it will be very transparent.”

Democrats have dismissed effort as a distraction.

“President Eating had his great opportunity at the last congress to dismiss Joe Biden and, of course, it was a spectacular failure,” said representative Jamie Raskin, the Maryland Democrat who served as a classification member in the Supervision Committee in the previous Congress. “And now he is only living from a spent dream. It’s over. And he should give up everything.”

Republicans in the committee are eager to conduct the investigation.

“The American people did not choose a bureaucracy to direct the country,” said representative Brandon Gill, a Texas first -year republican. “I think the American people deserve to know the truth and want to know the truth of what happened.”

Republican research has been focused on the final executive actions of the Biden administration, which included the issuance of new federal rules and presidential pardons that claim that they can be invalid.

Eating cited the book “Original without” by Jake Tapper of CNN and Alex Thompson de Axios, which details concerns and debates within the White House and the Democratic Party about the mental state and the age of Biden.

In the book, Tapper and Thompson wrote: “Five people directed the country, and Joe Biden was, in the best case, a member of the Board.”

Biden and family members have strongly denied the book statements.

“This book is a political fairy for the class of permanent and professional chatter,” said Naomi Biden, granddaughter of the former president.

Biden retired from the presidential race last summer after a debate against Trump in which he seemed to lose his thinking train several times, muttered inaudible responses and did not call different government programs.

The disastrous acting of debate pushed questions about his age and mental acuity at the forefront, which finally led Biden to retire from the presidential race. It was replaced by Kamala Harris, who lost the elections against Trump.
