The former White House Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, has a book this fall that promises a look close to President Biden’s decision not to run for re-election and requires thinking beyond the bipartisan system.

Jean-Pierre herself has changed her affiliation to Independiente after working in two Democratic Administrations, according to Legacy Lit, an imprint of ax book that will publish “independent: a look inside a broken white house, outside the lines of the party” on October 21.

“Until January 20, he was responsible for speaking on behalf of the president of the United States,” said Jean-Pierre, the first black woman and an openly gay person to occupy the position of press secretary of the White House, in a statement published on Wednesday.

“At noon of that day, I became a private citizen who, like all Americans and many of our allies worldwide, had to deal with what would come next to our country. I determined that the danger we face as a country requires freeing ourselves from boxes. We need to be willing to exercise the ability to think creatively and plan strategically.”

Jean-Pierre, 50, happened to Jen Psaki as a press secretary in 2022 after serving previously as deputy press secretary and also working as the main advisor during the Victorious 2020 campaign of Biden. During the first mandate of President Barack Obama, she was regional political director.

Jean-Pierre was sometimes criticized for being evasive about Biden’s physical condition. Legacy Lit’s Wednesday announcement says it will take readers “during the three weeks that led Biden to leave their offer for a second mandate and the betrayal of the Democratic Party that led to their decision.”

“She presents clear arguments and provocative evidence as a source about the importance of dismantling the torrent of misinformation and erroneous information that has been unbridled in recent elections and provides a passionate vision to advance,” said the announcement.
