Bill Maher presents the new Trump moss
Bill Maher unloaded President Donald Trump and Elon Musk about their public consequences, since he baptized the former allies on Friday with a nickname inspired by pop culture in the latest edition of “Real Time With Bill Maher”.
“I mean, when you think about it, the richest man in the world and the most powerful man in the world, it’s like Godzilla versus King Kong, if Godzilla was in Ketamine and King Kong he had a combination,” he joked to applaud during his opening monologue.
“I mean, these guys were so close,” the comedian continued. “It was like ‘BranGelina’ or ‘Bennifer’. No, you already know that Elon and Trump, had their own name: ‘Elump’. And you know, what happened this week?
“Brangelina” and “Bennifer” were the respective nicknames for former partners Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and Ben Affleck and Jennifer López. While many fans were surprised when those particular romances collapsed, Maher argued on Friday that it was clear that “Elump” would.
Musk spent a fortune to help choose Trump and also headed the so -called Government’s efficiency department, which has destroyed key institutions and shot thousands of federal employees with the declared objective of reducing unnecessary public spending.
Maher argued on Friday that Musk had specifically entered the policy to curb government swelling, only for the Republican party to elaborate the law of a Big Big Beautiful Bill, which includes almost $ 4 billion in tax cuts and pumps billions more in the Trump mass deportation initiative.
His crack on the measure began last month, when Musk prepared to abandon his government position and began to publicly criticize the bill. The dispute culminated in a bomb post on Thursday in X, previously Twitter, when Musk said Trump was “in Epstein’s archives.”

Jeffrey Epstein, a financial one who died in prison in 2019 while waiting for a trial for sexual traffic charges, ran in the same circles as Trump in the eighties and ninety years. Trump seemed to address the accusation on Friday by publishing a favorable statement from the former Epstein lawyer, David Schoen.
While Musk has since eliminated his own Post, Maher said that the Trump musco dispute is now “a war that is going and coming”, and joked by saying that “the winner faces Blake Lively”, whose legal battle with “ends with us”, Justin Baldoni, recently dominated the speech of pop culture.
