Jon Stewart hits ABC News for expelling Terry Moran:

Jon Stewart had some strong words on Thursday for ABC News, calling the organization as a “fucking joke.”

Stewart discussed the matter in his “weekly” podcast with Jill Lepore, professor of history and law at Harvard University, and Kevin M. Kruse, professor of history at Princeton, and did not chop words answering the question of a listener asking if ABC should have “dismissed” Moran.

“Of course not,” said Stewart. “So stupid. No, for the love of God, ‘should they have fired it?'”

“They should not have paid $ 15 million, they should not have fired it,” he argued. “Literally every day in News are taking things out of context, or its people say completely vicious things about democratic politicians and all kinds of other things.”

He said clearly: “It’s a joke. They are a damn joke.”

“Miller is a man who is richly endowed with hate capacity,” Moran wrote earlier that morning in a position from it. “He is a world -class enemy. You can see this simply looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual food.”

The network announced Tuesday that Moran will not return, and told News that his words were in “clear violation of ABC news policies.” Stewart argued on Thursday that this apparent strategy to appease Trump is useless against a vindictive administration.

“The problem with everything is that there is no level of loyalty that is enough,” he said in his podcast. “You’ve seen it attack News. That is literally as a polishing machine the 24 -hour Trump ball.”

He continued: “What always says every time they ask him a question? ‘That is a terrible question. Why don’t you thank me?'”
