Naomi Watts and Liev Schreibers daughter Kai opens for being trans for the first time
Only a few months after making his debut at Paris Fashion Week, Kai Schreiber is talking frankly about her aspirations as a young transgender woman in the fashion industry.
The daughter of the 16 -year -old actors, Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts, told the interview magazine in a question and answer session published this week that her dream from the beginning was “a beautiful, glamorous and influential woman, like Marilyn [Monroe]. ”
“I want to be a supermodel. Period,” he told The Outlet. “I have been practicing my walks in the kitchen for years; my mother can show you all the videos that forced her to film. Fight with gender identity from an early age that probably had something to do with that.”

When asked about his models to follow, Kai Schreiber said that “he will always admire the previous generation of transgender people, especially in fashion”, naming actors Hari Nef (“transparent”) and Hunter Schafer (“euphoria”) as two of their current inspirations.
“It is so good that there is a strong community of us in the fashion world; it really is an acquisition of dolls,” he explained. “It is important for all of us to have a sense of community, especially when we are under such a hostile attack.”
The interview chat seems to be the first time that Kai Schreiber goes to his gender identity in the registry. However, he has been regularly entering the center of attention in recent months.
After walking along the Valentino track as part of his debut at Paris Fashion Week in March, he appeared in an advertising campaign for the Italian fashion house.

In statements to Variety last month, Liev Schreiber recalled the “deep” moment that Kai asked him and Watts to change his pronouns.
“Kai is a fighter.
When the parents of children who may be reaching an agreement with trans identity were requested, Liev Schreiber offered a measured response.
“I don’t know the answer for your son,” he told The Outlet. “I don’t know what it is like to be a trans dad. I don’t know how they raised you. I don’t know what religion you are or what is your spirituality. And for me to tell you what I think about my son feels like an exaggerated.”

In addition to Kai, Liev Schreiber also shares his 17 -year -old son Sasha, with Watts. He and the actor of “Mulholland Drive” were in a relationship between 2005 and 2016. In 2023, he married Taylor Neisen, with whom he shares a 1 year old daughter, Hazel Bee.
