Anti-Trump protesters apply to the streets, parks and squares in the organizers of the United States say that millions arrived.

Huge and bustling crowds marched, danced, drummed and sang shoulders with shoulders in New York, Denver, Chicago, Austin and Los Angeles, some behind the “No Kings” banners. The 5,000 Atlanta capacity event quickly reached its limit, with thousands of external barriers gathered to listen to speakers in front of the State Capitol. Officials in Seattle estimated that more than 70,000 people attended the largest demonstration in the city in the city center, said Seattle Times.

Trump was in Washington for a military parade that marks the 250th anniversary of the army that coincides with the president’s birthday. Some 200 protesters gathered in the Logan circle of the northwest of Washington and sang “Trump must go now” before exploding in cheers. A Trump puppet larger than life, a cartoon of the president who wore a crown and sitting in a golden bath, was shot by the crowd.

In some places, the organizers delivered small American flags, while others flew their flags upside down, a sign of anguish. The Mexican flags, which have become a fixed element of Los Angeles’ protests against immigration raids, also appeared in some demonstrations on Saturday.

In Culpepper, Virginia, the police said that a person was beaten by a SUV when a 21 -year -old driver intentionally accelerated his SUV to the crowd when the protesters left a rally. The driver was accused of reckless driving.

The demonstrations occur immediately after the protests for federal immigration compliance raids that began last week and Trump ordered the National Guard to Los Angeles, where the protesters blocked a highway and set fire to the cars.

“Today, in the red states and the blue and rural cities and the main cities, the Americans stopped in the Pacific Unit and made it clear: we do not make kings,” said the No Kings coalition in a statement on Saturday afternoon after many events had ended.

Philadelphia

Miles gathered in the city center, where the organizers delivered small US flags and people brought signs of protest that said “fighting the oligarchy” and “deporting the mini-Musssolinis.”

Karen Van Trieste, a 61 -year -old nurse who drove from Maryland, said she grew up in Philadelphia and wanted to be with a large group of people who showed her support.

“I feel we need to defend our democracy,” he said. He is concerned about the dismissals of the Trump administration staff in the disease control and prevention centers of the United States, the destiny of immigrant communities and Trump trying to govern in executive order, he said.

A woman with a foam statue crown of Liberty brought a speaker system and wore an anti-trump song, changing the words “Young Man” in the song “Ymca” A “with man.”

“I am how the successful American dream looks,” said CC Téllez, a Bolivia immigrant who attended the protest. “I have had great success here in the United States, and I have also contributed a lot to my community. Miles gathered in front of the City Council, stirring signs and listening to a circle of American native drums before leaving the streets.

As the protesters passed the National Guard troops or the US marines parked in several buildings, most of the interactions were friendly, with protesters who hit fist blows or posing for selfies. But others sang “shame” or “go home” in the troops.

In the midst of signals that read “we are afraid that they do not go back in California” and “we carry non -dangerous dreams”, a protester wore a 2 -foot Trump piñata (60 centimeters) on a stick, with a crown on the head and hat hanging from his back. Peter Varadi, 54, said he voted for Trump last November for “economic reasons.” Now, for the first time in his life, he is protesting, stirring a Mexican and American combined flag.

“I voted for Donald Trump, and now I regret that, because he has taken this fascism to a new level,” Varadi said. “Now are Latinos. Who is the next? It’s gays. Black after that. They go for everyone.”

Even after the formal event ended, the streets of the center were full of a jubilant crowd while people danced with the music of salsa and mouths hot dogs and ice cream bought from the vendors, many of which are Latin immigrants. But the previously quiet demonstration became confrontative when the police on horseback moved to the crowd and hit some people with wooden bars and canes while cleareding the street in front of the federal building.

The protesters of the crowd that extended by blocks throughout the fifth avenue had various reasons to come, including anger by Trump’s immigration policies, support for the Palestinian people and outrage for what they said it was an erosion of the rights of freedom of expression.

But there were also patriotic symbols. Leah Griswold, 32, and Amber Laree, 59, who marched with white Suffragette dresses, brought 250 US flags to deliver the people of the crowd.

“Our mothers who left, fought for our rights, and now we are also fighting for future generations,” said Griswold.

Some protesters contained signs that denounced Trump while others hit the drums.

“We are here because we are concerned about the existential crisis of this country and the planet and our species,” said Sean Kryston, 28.

Minnesota

Governor Tim Walz and the Police encouraged people not to attend the demonstrations “by great caution” after the shootings of state -owned democratic legislators.

Dozens of events were canceled, but tens of thousands still resulted for manifestations in Duluth, Rochester and St. Paul, which included a march to the State Capitol. Walz canceled his appearance scheduled at the St. Paul event.

The authorities said that the suspect had flyers of “kings” in his car and writings that mentioned the names of the victims, as well as other legislators and officials, although they could not say if he had other specific objectives.

Silk Hang, 29, from Rochester, said she was disconsolate by the shootings, but still wanted to join the rally there. “These people are trying to do what they can for their communities, for the State, for the nation,” HENG told The Minnesota Star-Tribune.

The crowds cheered the Anti-Trump speakers in the first Charlotte neighborhood park before leaving, singing “without crowns. We will not lean.”

The protesters stretched for blocks, led by a group of people holding a giant Mexican flag and spectators who cheered and applauded along the way.

Jocelyn Abarca, a 21 -year -old university student, said the protest was an opportunity to “talk about what is correct” after mass deportations and the deployment of Trump of the National Guard in Los Angeles.

Melissa Johnson said he led Jackson for an hour and a half to protest because “we are losing the thread of democracy in our country.”

Portland

Early in the day, thousands of protesters aligned in the streets in downtown Portland for several blocks, shaking signs while the cars that passed touched the horn. They marched through the city covered with American flags to the rhythm of the battery and music.

At the end of the afternoon, a small group of protesters accumulated on the other side of the river to protest in front of an ice office where three people were arrested Wednesday night after starting a small fire against the building, police said.

Federal immigration officers fired tear gas, bangs and rubber bullets in an effort to eliminate the remaining protesters at night. Some protesters threw water bottles back and attended to the wounds of the other. The Police Department wrote in X that the event was declared a disturbance.

At least two people were arrested and taken within the Federal Immigration Building.
