The United States is finally receiving a parade of fascist dictators, courtesy of Donald Trump
Washington – After years of admiring autocrats such as Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Una and Xi Jinping and envy the type of military parade they enjoy, President Donald Trump is finally obtaining one of his own.
The capital city of the United States will look like Pyongyang, Beijing and the Red Square of Moscow on Saturday night, with missile tanks and pitchers rolling down the street, thanks to the birthday gift of $ 45 million of Trump to itself at the expense of taxpayers.
“I really don’t think the symbolism of tanks and missiles really is what we are all,” Kentucky’s Republican senator told News themezone to News themezone. “If you ask me about a military parade, all the images that come to mind, the first images, are from the Soviet Union and North Korea.”

Trump and his administration claim that the parade was really organized for the 250th birthday of the US Army., Not Trump’s 79. However, both the Navy and the Marines also have founding anniversaries this year, and there has been no discussion about celebrating $ 45 million celebrations for either. White House officials did not respond to News themezone’s consultations on the matter.
Democracy defenders warn that Trump’s use of the military to honor himself should not be minimized as harmless, particularly given his deployment of thousands of troops in Los Angeles to leave protests against their deportations, their repeated attacks against the judges, their use of their executive power to attack criticism and their willingness to define an order of the Supreme Court for months.
“The military parade is a flagrant adoption and an authoritarian energy exhibition celebration,” said Amanda Carpenter, former assistant of the Texas Republican senator, Ted Cruz, who is now with the Protect Democracy group. “Since this is combined with the deployment of US troops to the police of US streets, only an optics should be considered.”
John Bolton, third of Trump’s four national security advisors during his first term, said Trump has fallen in love with the idea of his own parade after attending the celebration of the France Bastille Day in 2017 at the invitation of the president of that country, Emmanuel Macron.
Bolton said Trump’s advisors could talk about him when he ordered one at the time. “It was dissuaded by a series of factors, among which was how much it would cost and how bad that would appear, and what damage would do the floors of the tank into the streets of Washington,” he said.
According to the reports, General Paul Selva, vice president of the General Staff of General Staff at that time, told Trump that a military parade was “what the dictators do.”
The United States has had few military parades in its history, the last one that takes place in 1991 during the presidency of George Hw Bush after US forces successfully expelled the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein of Kuwait, which he had invaded.
“It was a parade to celebrate winning the war, which is a good reason to have a military parade,” said Bolton. “That is not about. This is Donald Trump.”

Patty Murray, a democratic senator from the state of Washington, said during an audience on Wednesday that Trump’s casual use of the military should alarm Americans.
“President Trump promises a strong force against peaceful protesters in his military DC parade. This type of actions and that type of rhetoric of a president of the United States should prevent each of us from being cold. Threhamping using our own troops in our own citizens on such a scale,” he said. “It is unconstitutional and is frankly non -American. We should all talk against this and demand responsibility now.”
Despite its frequent statements to support the armed forces and the members of the service, Trump has a history of disrespect, even decades of respect, even for disdain, for both.
When he was young, Trump had the opportunity to fight in the Vietnam War, but instead he avoided the service with a diagnosis of “bone spurs” of a doctor who was a friend of his father.
In 2015, which was postulated for president, Trump declared that Arizona Senator John McCain, who spent almost six years in a prison in Hanoi under routine torture, was not a war hero just because he was captured. Trump said he preferred those who were not captured.
During his first mandate, when he could not get other Republicans to direct both Congress cameras to approve billions of dollars for a border wall, he had repeatedly promised that Mexico would pay, Trump raided a fund of the pentagon so that the housing and schools of the service members paid him.
Also in those years, Trump belittled those of the army who had died in the United States as “dumb” and “losers”, according to his own chief of cabinet.
And just a few months after his second term, Trump broke the tradition of the commander in chief shaking the hand of each cadet graduated in a military academy immediately leaving West Point after his speech and returned to his golf complex in New Jersey.
The predecessor of Trump, Joe Biden, spent 70 minutes congratulating each graduate last year, as Trump had done five years earlier, although he then complained how many times he had to lift his arm to greet.

To this day, Trump still does not seem to understand the military protocol. In his recent trip to the Middle East, Trump greeted Saudi military officers, as he had greeted North Korea officers during his summit meeting with Kim in 2018.
Protect Democracy’s Carpenter said Americans should take on Saturday as a warning of things to come. “Americans should see this clearly for what it is: the troops in the streets are troops in the streets, whether a parade or a raid,” he said.
