David Zucker has no intention of seeing the next remake of “The Naked Gun”.

Paramount Pictures launched the first teaser on Thursday to the results of the trend and millions of views. Zucker, who directed the original film of 1989 and the comedy classic “Airplane!” (1980), reacted with a fairly vivid description that probably triggers innumerable Internet users.

“I never saw ‘plane 2’ because you can’t see those things,” Zucker told TMZ. “Nor did I plan to look for the remake of ‘naked gun’. I regret to have seen the trailer for it. It’s like seeing ‘2 cup girls’. I can’t see it.”

While it could be said that it is an esoteric reference today, “2 Girls 1 Cup” was one of the most widely shared Internet videos of the late 2000s, and showed two women eating what appears to be feces in what, according to reports, was the trailer of a Brazilian fetish porn film.

The original trilogy was based on its 1982 series “Police Squad!”, Which falsified the shows of the procedure police and starred in Leslie Nielsen as clumsy policeman Frank Drebin. Zucker co-created the franchise with his brother Jerry and the late writer and director Jim Abrahams.

Zucker seemed excited when he said in 2013 that “there is something you can do” with a fourth movie. The writer and director told TMZ on Thursday, however, that he and his partners PAT PriT and Mike Mcmanus presented a script for it in 2018, but never received an answer.

Paramount finally decided on what the teaser promises is a very conscious restart of the former writer of “Saturday Night Live” Akiva Schaffer, a third of the comedy musical group “The Lonely Island”, with the winner of Oscar Liam Neeson replacing the deceased Nielsen.

If the final product is successful at the box office, it will be seen when launched on August 1.
