Trump intensifies his dispute with Tucker Carlson about Israel and Iran
President Donald Trump intensified his enmity with his unique vocal ally Tucker Carlson, telling journalists on Monday that no one is paying attention to the former host of News or his concerns about Israel’s military action in Iran.
“I don’t know what Tucker Carlson is saying. Let him go to look for a television network and tell him so that people listen,” said the president after Carlson, a highly seen News personality until his dismissal of 2023, he accused Trump of being “accomplice” in Israel’s attacks against Iran.

Carlson raised his concerns in a Friday newsletter, attacking Trump after Israel launched attacks that killed hundreds of Iranians on Thursday.
“While the US army may not have physically perpetrated the assault, years of financing and sending weapons to Israel, which Donald Trump boasted of social truth, without a doubt, placed the United States at the center of the events of the previous night,” Carlson wrote.
“They helped Israel take them.
Trump responded on Saturday in an Atlantic interview.
“Well, taking into account that it is I who developed ‘America first’, and taking into account that the term was not used until I arrived, I think I am the one who decides that,” Trump said, and added: “For those people who say they want peace, you cannot have peace if you have a nuclear weapon. So, for all those wonderful people who do not want to do anything about I will go that you have a nuclear weapon.”

Carlson remained firm in his position during the appearance in the podcast of Steve Bannon on Monday.
“You are not going to convince me that the Iranian people are my enemy,” he told Bannon, who served as one of Trump’s main strategists during his first mandate in the White House.
The United States is “at the cusp of entering a war on behalf of a political leader in a distant country that will really hurt my country,” Carlson continued, adding: “I just don’t want my country to be weakened or destroyed by another of these wars.”
