The governor of Florida, Ron Desantis (R), made an additional effort with a new tribute to President Donald Trump.

Desantis, on Friday, signed a bill that declared that the “portion of southern Boulevard between Kirk Road and S. Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach County” will now be “designated as’ President Donald J. Trump Boulevard.”

The bill also changed the name of other roads for, among others, the deceased singer Celia Cruz, the late representative Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.) And a bridge for the legend of late fishing José Wejebe.

Other roads that are already named after the president include Trump Drive in Kalispell, Montana, President Donald J. Trump Highway on Route 287 of the United States in Oklahoma and President Donald J. Trump Avenue in Hialeah, Florida.

The governor supported Trump until he ran against him in the primary of the 2024 Republican Party, before leaving and supporting his former rival.
