Honda receives a successful reusable rock test while it seems to enter the space business

Tokyo -The second major automobile manufacturer in Japan, Honda, has successfully tried an experimental reusable rocket, says the company, while seeking to expand to the space sector.
Honda, who hopes to develop the technological skill for a suborbital launch by 2029, made a proof flight of his rocket on the Japanese island of Northern Hokkaido.
“The test was completed successfully, the first time Honda got a rocket after reaching an altitude of almost 300 meters (approximately 984 feet),” said the company in a statement on Tuesday.

The prototype device, of about six meters (20 feet) high, landed only 37 centimeters (a little more than one foot) of its landing place designated after the flight of one minute.
The demand for satellite launch rockets is expected to increase in the coming years as expectations grow for “a data system in the outer space,” said Honda’s statement.
“Honda has chosen to assume the technological challenge of developing reusable rockets using Honda technologies accumulated in the development of several automated products and driving systems,” he said.
In the future, rockets could be used to configure satellite -based communication tools and monitor environmental conditions, such as global warming, Honda added.
Elon Musk Spacex It is known for its use of reusable rockets, a rapid growth field with several companies worldwide to develop their own models.
The Japan Space Agency, Jaxa, also has the mission of becoming an important player for satellite releases, even with his H3 rocket, which is not reusable.
Meanwhile, new Japanese companies compete to enter the busy field, including Space One, which in December suffered their second launch of failed rockets.
