The winner of the Lookalike Pascal contest looks a lot like the actor, people think it is a joke
The false Pedro Pascal can be as charming as the real Pedro Pascal.
Tuesday, “The Daily Show“He shared a clip behind the scene in his X account in which Jon Stewart revealed to fans that the winner of a Pascal Easter -based contest based in New York was George Gontas, who turns out to be the lighting designer of” The Daily Show “.

After inviting Gountas to the stage, which seems to be a lost member of Pascal’s family, Stewart made a confession.
“I have never noticed that Pedro Pascal looks like,” Stewart admitted, before showing a photo of how he typically looks in the office, which looks less like Pascal, but is still very very in the Pascal style.

Guntas explained that a colleague from “Daily Show” staff noticed flyers for the contest last week. The contest was held in Son del North, a Mexican restaurant at the Lower East Side, and the winner’s prize was $ 50 and a free burritos supply, according to To the local news station News 5 New York.

That was until he mentioned his wife, Jenny, only two days before the contest, and Jenny told Gontas that she was doing it absolutely.
When playing whether he liked Gountas or not, Jenny requested the help of a neighbor, who was a stylist, to specify the appearance of Pascal.
“And I introduced myself on Father’s Day, you were supposed to sign previously, I did not register,” Gontas said. “I rolled up and thought, ‘I am here.’ And they say: ‘You’re going to win.'”
And he did.
Later, in his discussion with Stewart, Gontas finally revealed that his wife had a hidden reason for his insistence that he entered the Pedro contest, and he wanted to use the 15 minutes of gountas fame to meet the true Pascal.
Then, Gountas decided to be a good husband and shared his wife’s request in Chamber with the hope that Pascal would receive the message.
“Hi Pedro, this is Pedro No. 5 of New York,” Gontas began. “It would be a great, great, great gift if you could meet my wife, Jenny. It would mean the world for her. We have to make this happen.”
Although it is currently not clear if Pascal is aware of this whole fiasco, fans of the “Daily Show” were impressed by the amount of gountains that looks like the “Last of Us” star. See your comments below.
