Jonathan Bailey is shrinking the speculation around her unusually affectionate relationship with her co -star Scarlett Johansson.

Bailey and Johansson caught their attention when they shared a kiss on their lips while attending the world premiere of “Jurassic World Rebirth”, which opens in cinemas throughout the country next week, in London. They plunged again as they walked on the red carpet at the New York premiere of the film on Monday.

The images of the two kisses drew a talk with online heating, with many pointing out that Bailey is Gay and that Johansson has been married to actor-comedian Colin Jost since 2020.

However, in statements to “Entertainment Tonight” on Monday, Bailey offered a direct, and perfectly identifiable explanation.

“I think in being able to show love in different ways,” he said. “And if you can’t kiss your friends … Life is too short not for not.”

Johansson, similarly, left aside the speech in a Monday interview with “Access Hollywood.”

“People are really … they have some time,” he joked.

“Jurassic World Rebirth” occurs in the middle of an occupied year for Bailey, who struggled for fans like Lord Anthony Bridgerton at the Netflix era drama “Drama” Bridgerton “.

The British actor returned to the London stage with great acclamation this spring in a production of “Richard II” by Shakespeare. It will reprise Fijero’s role in the second half of the film adaptation of the musical “Wicked” in November.

“You have to unlearn many stories about you that an industry tells you. If you are gay, there is a glass roof,” he explained. “Being a gay actor, historically, meant that you could not play directly and that there was no gay part to play, anyway. That has obviously changed, massively.”

He continued observing: “Any kind of sense of prejudice against sexuality is something to fight against, and what better way to do what any kind of character.”
