Hurricane season begins 2025
Two Tropical storms Formed on Sunday in the two coasts of Mexico, and they are expected to soak the region for several days.
Tropical Barry Storm, the second storm named this year Atlantic hurricanes seasonIt was located on the southeast coast of the country, about 50 miles east-southeast of Tuxpan, Mexico and about 130 miles southeast of Tampico, Mexico, according to the National Hurricane Center of the United States in Miami.
From the update of the 2 pm of NHC, it had maximum sustained winds of 45 mph and moved to the northwest to 12 mph.

Barry is expected to strengthen slightly before it reaches the coast of southeastern Mexico, before weakening quickly as it moves towards the interior. The forecasts, who issued a tropical storm warning, said the storm could pull three to six inches of rain with a maximum isolated total of 10 inches through Veracruz, San Luis Potosi and Tamaulipas until Monday.
Meanwhile, on the southwest coast of Mexico, Tropical Flossie storm formed on Sunday. It was located about 225 miles south of Acapulco and moved west to 9 mph with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph.
Flossie is expected to be strengthened in a hurricane on Monday or Tuesday, but will remain in open waters to the west of Mexico, said the forecasting.

The storm could pull three to six inches of rain through Oaxaca, Guerrero, Michoacán, Colima and Jalisco until the beginning of next week.
The Pacific hurricane season began on May 15, while the Atlantic Hurricanes season is from June 1 to November 30, with a maximum activity that generally occurs between mid -August and mid -October.
NOAA officials predicted A 60% probability of a hurricane season of the Atlantic “above normal”, with between 13 and 19 storms with name. It is expected that six to 10 of them will be strengthened in hurricanes, and from three to five they could become important hurricanes, the forecasts said.
