CNN Fact Checker exposes the claims of triumphs on the bill that are wildly, categorically inaccurate

Dale pointed out that the bill contains a provision that would require certain members of Medicaid, who do not have small children and are considered with the body, to demonstrate that they are employed, in school, in labor training or as a volunteer more than 80 hours per month to receive their benefits.

“So again, good or bad, … this is a big thing,” Dale said. “And how big? Well, the non -partisan Congress Budget office says we are talking about a cut of $ 930 billion in federal support for Medicaid for 10 years. That is the largest cut in Medicaid in history, according to many experts.”

“This non -partisan CBO estimates that we are talking about 11.8 million people without additional insurance in 2034 as a result of this legislation, not all as a result of people losing Medicaid, but many of those 11.8 million would be people now in Medicaid who would not be,” he added.

Trump told the friday journalists that “their taxes will increase by 68%” if the bill is not approved and said that Democrats are determined to frustrate legislation only “because politically it is very good for Republicans.” Dale said Monday that the figure is pure “fiction.”

“And it is so much fiction that the White House would not even defend it under anonymity when I asked for comments,” he revealed. “There is no defense at all. There is no credible estimate that not to approve this legislation would produce a tax increase of 68%.”
