Idris Elba is opening around his 50 years, and everything that comes with them.

In an episode on Tuesday of the podcast “Good Hang” by Amy Poehler, the acclaimed actor, 52, became sincere for having approximately half a century.

“I do not love that, at this age, the age of being well -being and consciousness, whether it for us, however, our bodies fail us,” he said.

Poehler, who is 53 years old, agreed, and the two were sympathized on how even simple tasks, such as walking, can become daring after a certain age.

“I mean, the fact that you can hurt the bed,” Poehler said.

She pointed out that Elba still has to “use her body” for her work, and asked her how she manages to stay “flexible” at his age. They exchanged mobility tips, some of which Elba admitted to ignore.

However, Elba revealed that he practices the squat method, which Poehler seemed impressive.

“Can your knees handle that?” She asked.

To which Elba responded quickly, “No.”

They both laughed, agreeing that “going down is easy.” But go up again? That is another story.

Poehler said his age has also brought wisdom, a feeling that Elba resonated.

“In my 30 and 40 years, I was surprised by the wind,” he said. “In the 50s, I’m like, ‘Nah. That wind has to pass around.’ I’m not influencing so easily.” He Adding that you no longer have “fear of difficult things or challenges” that once disturbed it.

He also shared that as he ages, “he really wants to learn more.”
