A federal judge ordered an organizer of the demonstration of President Donald Trump of January 6, 2021 in Washington to pay $ 2,000 per day until he responds to a summons that seeks information on the planning and collection efforts of funds from the volatile event.

The collection of republican funds Caroline Wren, who appeared as a “VIP Advisor” with the demonstration “Save America”, received the rigid fine shortly after not attending a virtual audience in Florida on Wednesday related to a citation that was first presented by the police officers of the United States Capitol in the early 2024.

The officers, who were injured in the attack of January 6, seek information from her that say it is relevant to a lawsuit filed against Trump, their presidential campaign and others. This information includes “documents regarding the rally, including programming planning, fundraising, planning communications, VIP section, healthcare security and assistance,” according to judicial documents.

Trump spoke infamously in the demonstration, telling his supporters that the elections had been stolen and that they had to “fight like hell” before directing them to march to the United States Capitol, which was later raised violently.

According to the reports, some of the organizers of the event knew about Trump’s plans to order the crowd to march to the Capitol, although they repeatedly denied it at the service of national parks, according to an investigation by the Inspector General.

The United States District Judge, Donald Middlebroks, criticized Wren on Wednesday for having a “pattern of contempt and lack of commitment” while ordering to be retired civil.

His refusal to comply with the citation, he said, has “deprived [the officers] of fair and complete access to the discovered material to which they are entitled. “

He warned that she could face additional sanctions if she continues without responding, including the possible jail time.

The attempts to get to Wren to comment on Thursday were not successful immediately.

According to Politico, Wren is not the only witness accused of challenging a citation related to the demand of the officers.

There has been a “radio silence” of Trump’s former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, since he was summoned in April last year to obtain information related to the demonstration, said a lawyer from the officers to the United States district judge, Edgardo Ramos.

Ramos indicated that he would issue a written decision about Giuliani’s silence soon.
