President Trump, Melania Trump to visit the United Kingdom

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will visit King of Great Britain Carlos III Later this fall, Buckingham Palace announced Sunday.

Charles invited the couple to the official visit from September 17 to 19, said the palace in a statement. The king will be the host of the Trump in Windsor Castle, said the palace. No more information was published.

Trump is likely not to go to Parliament as French president Emmanuel Macron did last week, since Parliament will not be in session from September 16 to October 13 due to party conferences, according to Sky News.

Trump and the First Lady were organized by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 2019. That visit was marked by generalized protests, and the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, criticized Mr. Trump in a video message before his arrival.

The announcement of Mr. Trump’s trip occurs when he has threatened to Annexar Canada, who shares King Charles as head of state, such as the 51st American state. In one direction before The Parliament of Canada in MayCharles called him a “critical moment” for Canada.

“Today, Canada faces another critical moment,” Charles said, adding that “democracy, pluralism, the rule of law, self -determination and freedom are values that Canadians appreciate and those that the government is determined to protect.”

Trump has also been trying to navigate for diplomacy, since he has slapped tariffs worldwide. In May, Trump praised a deal With Great Britain as a “maximum agreement” that would serve as a template for agreements for other nations, but the agreement leaves the 10% reference rate instead.
