Staying awake to see “just one more episode” is a classical excuse to delay bedtime.

And with popular programs such as “Love Island” of Peacock that is broadcast almost every night as the drama develops live, there is more pressure to finish the last episode and talk with others the next day.

In addition to becoming more sleeping in the morning, staying awake to watch television is not good for the brain, according to Daniel Amen, psychiatrist, brain image doctor and founder of Amen Clinics in California.

Your brain changes physically when you work too much, scientists warn

“‘I only have to see the last episode’ of any program you are seeing, and you end up cutting half an hour or an hour of sleep,” he said in an interview with News Digital.

In this case, the doctor advised: “Do not make important decisions the next day, because their brain has not been” washed “correctly. And you are more likely to make a bad decision.”

“I want energy. I want memory. I want to focus. I want passion. I want a purpose. I want blood flow. I never want to do anything that hurts [the brain]”

“It’s about the abundance of what I want instead of what I can’t have,” added Amen. “You’re going to take brain health seriously.”
