When Chad Michael Murray and his wife, Sarah Roemer, decided whether to expand their family again, they first consulted their other children.

The “Freaky friday” actor, who married Roemer in 2015, told Parade about the unique method that the couple used to decide whether to have another son.

“We took a family vote, actually,” Murray said in the interview, published on Wednesday. “We were not going to have a third child unless we were all on board, including children.”

The two were parents of a daughter, born in 2015, and a son, born in 2017, when they consulted their children. The actor and his wife have never publicly shared their names.

“Our son was not on board for almost all the time until finally, one day, he says: ‘I would like to have a baby in the family,'” Murray shared.

“And we are like, ‘wow, look that!’ And he is the best with her, ”he explained. “He is so good all the time with her, and they love each other.”

Murray and Roemer welcomed their third son, a daughter, in 2023. The actor of the “History of Cinderella” said that, because he has two daughters, he is often being seen as them.

“I have two little girls, so I always wear pink. I can’t help it,” he told Parade, and added that the coordinated appearance put it “in a good mood.”

“I love it. And girls like it. So now we can match,” he shared.

Spending time with his family is deeply important for Murray, who travels with his wife and children every time he is on the set.

“I want to be there. I have to be there for my daughter’s first steps,” Murray told Variety last year of bringing his young, whom he calls “La Manada”, with him.

“I have to take your trick or treat for the first time,” he added. “And she crushed it!”
