Pam Bondi withdraws from the anti-Trafficking event on the medical subject
Attorney General Pam Bondi retired from a summit against trafficking on Wednesday, in the midst of continuous questions about the alleged connections of President Donald Trump with the sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein and how much the Department of Justice knew about it.
Interim Deputy Attorney General Matthew Galeotti issued a Bondi statement while appearing in his place at the summit of the activating organization of the CPAC conservative organization against human trafficking in Washington, DC
“Unfortunately, I am recovering from a recently torn cornea, which prevents me from being with you,” reads the statement, according to News. “I would really want to be able to join you and support all the work done on this critical issue.”
The absence of Bondi of the Conference occurs when the Department of Justice and the White House faces greater scrutiny for its management of documents related to financial dishonor and the accused sex trafficker Epstein.
The Wall Street Journal published a report on Wednesday, stating that in May, the Attorney General informed Trump that his name appeared in the so -called Epstein archives of the Department of Justice several times.

During the informative session, Bondi apparently also told the president that appearing in the records was not “a sign of irregularities” and that a series of “other high profile figures” were also appointed in the documents, that WSJ reports that Bondi and the officials said they felt “not verified” content.

Last week, Trump told reporters that Bondi had not made him aware that his name was in the investigation materials of the Department of Justice and claimed that the archives were “invented” by former FBI director James Comment and former President Barack Obama.
But in a statement to WSJ on Friday, Bondi and the attached attorney general, Todd Blanche, confirmed that the informative session took place, saying that the president was “aware of the findings” during part of an “information session of routine.”
Revelation occurs when Trump has become increasingly discontent for public care in Epstein archives and frustration within his base on the course of reversion of the promises of the campaign to launch the documents.
