The new emojis are falling on their device soon

Humans have been communicating with images since the days of the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Today, that tradition is still alive in one of the most popular visual languages of the digital era: emoji. The unicode consortium, the non -profit organization that maintains the unicode standard to ensure that the emojis works between the devices, has announced Unicode 17.0, which includes nine new emojis scheduled for its launch this autumn, in September 2025.
While these emojis may take a few months to appear on their phone, they probably implement widely at the beginning of 2026, here is an advance of the new symbols that you can expect to see:

Landslide
In addition to the natural disaster emojis family, landslide represents a powerful geological event. Use it to warn about the danger or describe an avalanche of events.
Distorted face
A highly expressive emoji that can convey confusion, disbelief or be overwhelmed, perfect for those moments when words are simply not enough. Alternatively, it also seems a face that has been inflated, ready to explode. Whatever this face is saying, you can barely hold it.
Hairy creature
Inspired by legendary crypts such as Sasquatch, Yeti and others worldwide, this emoji brings the mystery of the deep forest to the Emoji lexicon without favoring the name of any particular region.

Treasure chest
The Motherlode, the great score, the payment, the Grand Prix, the hidden jewel or the last reward. The treasure chest emoji celebrates discovery and reward.
Killer whale
Also known as the predator of Apex Ocean, the Leviathan, the monarch of the depths, the black fin and certainly not flipper. According to Google Trends, the term “orca” is almost as popular as the term “elephant.” Then, they have increased the animal emoji line to include our favorite black and white murderous whales.
Trombone
“Womp, Womp, Womp” has just obtained your own emoji. We all know how it sounds, even the sliding notes that notify the failure. It’s jazz, it’s brass and is iconic. A classic brass instrument emoji that captures jazz and slider sounds known for expressing a playful failure or fanfare.

Cloud of fighting
From the cartoon of the old school, this emoji represents a cloud of swirling dust, which indicates a fight or fight. Useful for conversations with heating and playful.
Apple nucleus
The discarded fruit center, this emoji means organic waste, the core of a problem or something spoiled.
Ballet dancers
First, we had the flamenco lady. Then we had the dancing dance of the fever on Saturday night. Now we finally have the dancer throughout her glory. Bringing grace and art to the table, this emoji is available in multiple skin tones to represent various dancers worldwide.
