Maria Shriver says Bill will change the name of the Kennedy center after Trump sinks the blood
Maria Shriver is not interested in Republican’s plans to change the name of the Kennedy center in honor of President Donald Trump.
The journalist, who is the niece of former Democratic president John F. Kennedy, criticized a bill of the Republican Party with the aim of renouncing the Center for Scenic Arts Insignia in Washington, DC, in a Monday post on X, calling to the measure irritating and “Petty”.
“This is crazy. It makes me boil my blood,” he wrote. “It’s so ridiculous, so petty, so small.”
Shriver wrote: “Really, what is it? It’s always something.”
Noting the Trump renewal of another DC milestone, he wrote: “” We go to the Garden de Rosas. Let’s change the name of the Kennedy Center. “What follows?”

Earlier this year, the president announced his plans to install cement on the iconic Rose Garden of the White House, which was created during the Kennedy administration. Image change appears on the way to complete in early August, according to News.
Shriver’s criticism was largely aimed at a bill presented by representative Bob Onder (R-MO.) Earlier this month, which potentially raided the way to “designate the John F. Kennedy center for performing arts such as the center ‘Donald J. Trump for the scenic arts’.
In a statement, the Missouri politician said: “I cannot think of a more ubiquitous symbol of American exceptionalism in the arts, entertainment and popular culture in general than President Trump.”

Onder’s efforts come immediately after a similar proposal to change the name of the Kennedy center after the first lady Melania Trump.

However, both movements could be against the law, which originally authorized the construction of the center.
The statute cited in an NBC News article establishes that, “after December 2, 1983, additional monuments or plates will not be designated or installed in the nature of commemorative monuments.”
In February, Trump was appointed president of the Kennedy Center after meeting the board of previous bipartisan trustees, its president and its former president.
