Trump has just taken his corruption to a new shameless level
Donald Trump and his White House took the use of government resources to put money in their pockets at a new shameless level on Tuesday, treating their participation in a marketing event in one of their Scotland golf resorts as an official act worthy of promotion of personnel funded by taxpayers.
The “Cinema” ceremony of the convicted criminal president in his golf complex was included in the daily schedule published by the White House. When Trump pronounced a speech that predicted that it would be “a tremendously successful place,” he was taken live on the YouTube channel of the White House. When he started playing a round there, his staff published a video in real time on social networks.
When asked about its use of government resources to promote their own business, Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on the flight home that did not know any concern.

In two previous cases in which Trump participated in events that explicitly benefited their own financial interests, the White House staff at least seemed to maintain a distance from weapons, even when Trump used the government’s resources and the printing of the presidency to promote them.
On April 3, Trump spoke at a dinner for the LIV golf tournament backed by Saudi, a commercial partner of his resort in Doral, Florida. Trump arrived through a marine helicopter after flying to Miami aboard Air Force One, but the dinner itself was “closed from the press” in the daily schedule, and was not transmitted or promoted by employees of the White House.
Similarly, on May 22, Trump spoke at a dinner in his golf course in northern Virginia for those who had bought the largest amounts of their cryptographic “meme” coins. Trump flew there from the White House aboard Marine One, but the departure was called a “private dinner” in the daily schedule and was not promoted or taken live by the White House.
