President Trump said Friday that he ordered that two nuclear submarines be positioned in the “appropriate regions”, in response to the threatening comments made by the former president of Russia.

“Based on the highly provocative statements of the former president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, who is now vice president of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, I have ordered that two nuclear submarines be positioned in the appropriate regions, only in case these silly and inflammatory statements are more than that,” Trump published in the social truth. “The words are very important can often lead to involuntary consequences, I hope this is not one of those cases.”

Trump did not say where the submarines would be. The White House declined to comment.
