AI Humanoid Robot is changing the way you buy cars in concessionaires
The world of car dealers is quickly changing as AI’s humanoid robots, once confined to the factory floors, are now entering exposure rooms to greet customers, explain the characteristics and even see coffee.
In the Shanghai 2025 Auto Show, the Chinese Cherry car manufacture showed its latest advances, placing robots in the heart of the client’s experience.

She is a physical robot that can explain the vehicle specifications, the tours of the exhibition room, serve soft drinks and communicate in multiple languages. The Mornine de Chery is already working as a “smart sales consultant” at a concessionaire in Kuala Lumpur, Malasia, and the company plans to deliver 220 units to distributors around the world this year. Mornine’s design combines advanced robotics with a friendly digital person, with the aim of connecting with younger customers and technology experts.

How Mornine works
Mornine works with Chery’s experience in autonomous driving and artificial intelligence. The robot uses a multimodal detection model to recognize gestures, voice commands and environmental signals. His hands are skilled enough to serve drinks, and can walk vertically to guide customers around the exhibition room. Deepseek’s big language models give the ability to understand natural language in the morning and provide personalized responses, which makes interactions feel more natural and attractive.

Beyond the exhibition room
Chery imagines that Mornine moves beyond car sales. Thanks to its flexible design and advanced artificial intelligence, the robot could one day work in shopping centers, cinemas, exhibitions and even household houses or facilities. The company sees Mornine as a step towards a future where artificial intelligence is always by its side, with robots that act as daily companions and assistants.
