Aimee Lou Wood has revealed that he felt “ugly” after learning that Mike White, the creator of “The White Lotus”, put his neck during the casting process for the third season.

The British actor, who is also known for his role in “sex education,” said his spiral began when a producer in the program “told me how much Mike [White] I had fought for me. ”

“They said ‘it had to be you, regardless of what HBO said,” Wood shared in an interview with GQ, published on Tuesday.

“It was honestly from the best place, but my little head says: ‘HBO didn’t love me. And I know why HBO didn’t love me, it’s because I’m ugly,” he recalled. “‘Mike had to say’ Please, let me have the ugly girl! ‘That was what was in my head.”

The public approach to Wood’s distinctive teeth has probably not helped either. Wood said that while the speech is positive, “there is a limit” about how much he wants to hear about it.

“All the conversation is just my teeth, and it makes me a little sad because I am not going to talk about my work. They think it is good because they do not criticize,” Wood told the magazine. “And I have to go there … I don’t know if it was a man we would be talking about it? It is still happening about the appearance of a woman.”

Wood, who has been called the “Rupture Star” of the third season of the program for her performance as peculiar Chelsea, has previously said that she found positive attention after “being intimidated for my teeth forever.”

During an appearance in “The Jonathan Ross Show” by ITV, she joked fans not to try to recreate her smile themselves.

“I hope people don’t start presenting their teeth to have holes,” Wood said with a smile.
