Ananda Lewis, MTV VJ and presenter of interview programs, dies at 52
The presenter of the Interview Program, Ananda Lewis, died at age 52.
The former MTV Jockey Lakshmi sister shared the news of Lewis’s death on Wednesday in a Facebook publication.
“She is free, and in her heavenly arms,” he wrote with multiple broken heart emojis and a photo of his sister. “Lord, rest your soul [prayer emoji]. “
Facebook users shared their sadness for Lewis’s death.
“I always loved your sister’s beautiful smile. His legacy will live. My deepest condolences,” a person wrote.
Another added: “My most sincere condolences for you and your family. Prayers and blessings.”

The cause of Lewis’s death has not yet been released.
It was known for organizing programs such as “Total Request” and “Hot Zone” after it was hired as one of the MTV VJs in 1997. He also presented his own interview program, “The Ananda Lewis Show”, from 2001 to 2002.
In 2020, Lewis revealed in a Instagram publication that had been diagnosed with breast cancer in stage 3. Last fall, he confirmed that cancer had returned and metastasis.
