Anna Camp transmits complaints about her break from Emmys
Anna Camp is transmitting her complaints after losing an Emmy nomination for her performance in the last “You” season of Netflix.
The actor “Pitch Perfect” had the unusual task of addressing the double role of the identical twin sisters Reagan and Maddie Lockwood in the horror series, which ended this spring after five seasons. Despite their very different personalities, women inadvertently use the similarities in their appearances to help take Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley) to justice, even if not everyone ends well for the brothers themselves.
Although Camp had been opened in interviews about the challenges of playing two characters in the same program, it was not enough for the television academy. When Emmy nominations were announced on Tuesday morning, the name of the camp was nowhere.

That did not sit well with Camp, who shared his disappointment in a shameless Instagram post on Tuesday afternoon.
“I read about the nominations of this morning knowing that I did one of the best performances of my life while trying to be happy for everyone and, while remembering that I promised to stop drinking during the week,” he wrote, along with a couple of photos of Reagan and Maddie looking at “You.”
For Wednesday, Camp’s publication had received a lot of fans support comments, many of whom also expressed their regret for their lack of nomination.
“You played twins who also pretended to be to each other, the flubs and everything. That is a next level, girl,” a person wrote. “In addition, you brought all comedy!”
He added another: “All the time I saw that season, his performance amazed me. As you have not been nominated, it surprises me. You were incredible!”

Camp’s Desaise is, unfortunately, for the course in terms of “you.” Despite its popularity among the public, the program did not receive a single Nomination to Emmy over the course of its five -season career, another reminder of the ways in which Hollywood continues to overlook the horror genre.
Speaking to Marie Claire in May, Camp described a part of “you” as “an element of the wish list”, since he has been a fan of the series since its premiere of 2018.
As for playing Maddie and Reagan, she said: “You can stretch your wings in a way that is a great challenge, especially to have scenes with myself.”

“To elaborate two different people and touch the opposite of the other side, it is a dance that really stretched me creatively in a way that I do not think I have stretched in a long time,” he added. “I thought Maddie would be the easiest twin to play, but when he would go to the set like Reagan, she would be dressed in black with tight hair and felt natural. I felt safe because she has a lot of armor, a lot of confidence.”
