Texas entered Ohio Stadium as team number 1 in the nation and did not look a little.
Both offenses took time to get going, since the teams changed the ball in the casualties in their opening units. The rising superstar Jeremiah Smith had two drops for OSU on his next trip, but the Buckeyes were able to find the annotation zone with approximately nine minutes in the first half with a touchdown for the room and goal. The Lonhorns hit each of their last four units of the first half.
After the Buckeyes were three and outside to open the second half, the offensive of the Longhorns was moving. But he stopped again at the fourth attempt, this time right in the goal line, since Manning tried to press for six.
Ohio State again had to clear after only three plays, but Manning returned the favor with an interception that was returned to the 32 of the Buckeyes. Osu crossed the midfield, and, second and 7 of Texas 40, Campo Mariscal Julian Sayin found Carnell Tate for the score to turn it into 14-0 buckers led with 13:08 to go in the game.

Texas crossed the center of the field in an effort to start a return, and Manning was rescued when what seemed like an intercepted pass declared an incomplete pass after the review. They entered the red zone, but a 4th and 3 pass to the final area fell to the grass. It was the third consecutive quarter that did not become after obtaining his first in the afternoon.
In the despair mode, the Longhorns marched again, and Manning finally found the final area, hitting Parker Livingstone for a 32 -yard score with 3:28.
Texas forced three others and outside and recovered the ball in his own 15 with 2:26 to travel. In the second play of the Longhorns, Manning launched a perfect 30 -yard pass, but they could not get another first Down.
Manning was 17 of 30 for 170 air yards, but 132 of them arrived only in the last quarter. It was the first beginning of Manning of his career, and it was a difficult task against what could be the best defense of the country.
In his first game as a starter, Sayin was 13 of 20 for 126 yards.
Perhaps the most difficult test for Buckeyes is in the books, and they will have a couple of tune in Grambling State and Ohio University for the next two Saturdays.

Texas will probably also return to its usual winning forms. The Lonhorns receive the state of San José, UTEP and the state of Sam Houston the next three weeks.
For both squads, it is this Saturday that will be in their minds during the rest of the season and the playoffs.
